In this workshop, Miranda Grisales-Buell, MA, Trauma Informed Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, and Certified Yoga Teacher, welcomes you to connect by first making your way to yourself. She will offer you practices of guided somatic movement, nurturing yoga poses, guided meditation, and breathwork. Each person will be given choices in the way you want to move or not move.
When used appropriately these practices can help with:
*connecting to your body
*ease anxiety
*regulate our emotions
*identify where trauma is being held in the body
* release stagnant energy
* Create a container of safety within oneself
* softening the body
* self-compassion
* giving ourselves the freedom to find joy
A container of safety will be created to hold space for each other collectively as we explore our truths through reflection, self-inquiry, and writing.
Your body is your home, and it’s your birthright to live in it with ease!
The cost is $5- If you want to attend and cannot pay, do not hesitate to reach out. We want this class to be accessible to everyone
