Community - It takes a Village
Let me introduce myself.
I’ve been a part of Rockford Crunchy Ladies since the beginning of 2015. I love this community because we understand each other. We can have our differences and still move forward with them without judgment. Be Kind. Be Crunchy. Be Supportive. That motto is why I love Crunchy Ladies.
In 6 years we have had less than 10 disputes that ended in people separating. I would call that a win.
Now here we are in 2021. We have been through months and years of exhaustion through multiple outlets. We are still here. We are standing together and moving forward.
We have seen an increase in those wanting to attend our classes and meetups. We have had more people sign up for meal trains. Now we all need to step it up and sign up where we are needed.
We have new families, large families, and everywhere in between. If we all can sign up for a meal train to help another mom out, we could make such an impact on her and her family’s health. The days we are down and not wanting to do anything, or only wanting to snuggle our newborns, are the days we need that extra push to get us out of the slumps. Don’t wait on the next person to sign up, BE THAT PERSON. Love your neighbor keep our community growing.
Join us in person as you can. We are always welcoming. We love to see your face in person. When you feel you couldn’t possibly attend, make that effort to go. That is the day it is most important for your mental health.
I love this community, and I hope you do too.
